FDA suspended licences or registrations at seven Mumbai food establishments after raids found unhygienic kitchens, improper food storage, unauthorised colours and other safety violations. A statewide drive also seized food and dairy products worth ₹1.56 crore over suspected adulteration. The licenses were suspended following serious hygiene failures such as unclean kitchens, mixed storage of veg/non-veg food, unauthorized colours, and a lack of worker medical certificates.
