Surat cyber police arrested an engineering student and his associate for a 23.38 lakh rupee stock scam linked to a 410 crore rupee international fraud syndicate. According to investigators, the victim was initially contacted with assurances of substantial financial profits through equity trading before being guided to install fraudulent mobile applications.
