Sunday's MotoGP race in Australia is cancelled because of bad weather at Phillip Island. Heavy rain and reduced visibility prevented the medical helicopter from operating safely, forcing the cancellation of Sunday's MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 races. For only the second time in the modern MotoGP era, a Grand Prix has been called off on its scheduled race day because of weather-related safety concerns. Phillip Island 2026 joins Silverstone 2018.
