According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) data, the city recorded 4,908 dengue cases in 2024 and 2,391 in. Pune dengue cases reached 2,291 by October 20, nearing the 2025 total as the PMC reviews beds, testing and mosquito-control measures. Rapid diagnostic kits have been made available free of cost at municipal dispensaries. Free confirmatory tests are also available at Dr Naidu Hospital, Dr Kotnis Hospital and Kamala Nehru Hospital.
