Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi launched 25 electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa scheme and inaugurated the National Urban Conclave 2026 in Bhubaneswar to discuss future urban development. Odisha’s urbanisation rate is projected to rise from 17% to 40% by 2036, with new townships, buses, water projects and civic institutions planned.
