Chandigarh: Haryana’s High-Powered Works Purchase Committee (HPWPC), chaired by chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, on Monday approved nine development projects worth Rs 283.2 crore to strengthen water supply, sewerage, power, and road infrastructure across the state. Civic and transport authorities are coordinating field operations to improve commuter safety, reduce transit bottlenecks, and streamline daily travel across key urban corridors.
