Agartala, Oct 23: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said that the ‘Mayer Gomon’ carnival is not merely a procession marking the immersion of Durga idols; it has evolved into a unique expression of sate’s royal heritage, cultural diversity, communal harmony and collective social consciousness. The Tripura government on Friday organised the fifth edition of ‘Mayer Gamon’, a procession of Durga idols of the best pujas in the capital city and its outskirts.
