Karnataka Minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah has alleged that some people from his own party, Congress, were behind an alleged 2023 'sting operation' aimed at tarnishing the image of his father and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. However, he added, "Just because a party worker is involved, it doesn't mean entire party is against us." Siddaramaiah called the sting a "fake story".
