The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has placed Fish Masala from Hyderabad-based Tejas Food Industries LLP on its Salmonella import-alert Red List, making shipments of the listed product liable for detention without physical examination when offered for entry into the US. The company-product entries were published in Aug and Sept 2026, under Import Alert 99-19.
