Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) in Surat is installing 388 anti-suicide fans in its hostels as a preventive measure to safeguard students facing academic pressure and career-related stress. The specially designed fans use a spring mechanism that activates when excessive weight is applied, cutting off the power supply and lowering the fan.
