Political leaders, social activists and representatives of religious and community organisations staged a Satyagraha at Mangaluru's Clock Tower on Friday, October 23, opposing the SIR of electoral rolls and calling for protection of eligible voters' rights. The protest continued into the evening with speeches, revolutionary songs and slogans against the ECI and ruling leaders.
