Tamil Nadu cuts aviation fuel VAT to 16% at Chennai and 1% at other airports from 1 November 2026, easing costs for scheduled airlines. The move is aimed at reducing airline operating costs, improving the competitiveness of airports across Tamil Nadu and expanding domestic air connectivity, the government said in a release.
