SRINAGAR: About 1.05 lakh casual and daily rated workers in Jammu and Kashmir have been awaiting regularisation for years, with nearly 30% of them set to attain. .Of the 1.05 lakh daily wagers, 57,390 workers belong to Kashmir, while 40,077 are in the Jammu division. The highest number of daily rated workers are engaged in the PHE/I&FC sector with 38,585 workers, followed by the Power Development Department with 13,616, Education with 12,646.
