Acting on residents’ complaints about poor infrastructure and maintenance, including defunct sewage treatment plants (STPs) and apartments awaiting occupancy certificates, Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has directed zonal commissioners and executive engineers to personally oversee the maintenance of apartment complexes whose defect liability period (DLP) has expired.
