A fresh controversy has erupted at Gujarat University over the renovation of the in charge vice-chancellor’s bungalow and an adjoining director’s bungalow, even as a long-pending proposal to establish a laboratory for students in the chemistry department remains unresolved. The issue came to light after a senior professor and head of the department (HoD) from the science faculty expressed dissatisfaction with the university’s functioning in a social media post.
