MahaRERA orders Vinayak Enterprises to pay delay interest to eight Pune homebuyers after rejecting approval-related excuses for late possession. MahaRERA dismissed a builder's excuse for delaying flat possession in Pune, ruling in favour of the homebuyer. The builder's claims of government changes causing delays were proven invalid. The developer gave reasons of “demonetisation and implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST)” as hurdles to complete the project on time.
