A special PMLA court in Bengaluru has convicted a retired Karnataka Excise Department guard, M Ramchandra, and his daughter, R Yurekha, on money laundering charges. Ramchandra received five years rigorous imprisonment and a Rs 5 lakh fine, while Yurekha received three years rigorous imprisonment and a Rs 3 lakh fine. Five immovable properties were also confiscated.
