Indian sprinter Bhavikkumar Bharwad was disqualified from the men's 400m T47 final at the Asian Para Games 2026 on Thursday, losing the silver medal he had initially secured after a second-lane infringement. Bharwad clocked 49.31 seconds to finish second behind compatriot Dilip Mahadu Gavit. However, Bharwad was disqualified after the race for a TR18.2(c) violation relating to a lane infringement.
