Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) have teamed up to ensure that everyone gets home safely this weekend. They’ve implemented extra safety measures, including “cycling buddies” on quiet routes and “awareness teams” to step in and remind visitors to treat each other with respect, Amsterdam announced. The city launched the “Celebrate Safe” campaign to show bystanders how they can intervene if they witness situations involving violence, sexual harassment, or other misconduct.
