A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Bengaluru at 9.01 am on Friday, with its epicentre near Doddaballapur taluk, according to NCS and KSNDMC. Tremors may have been felt within 20-30 km of the epicentre. KSNDMC said the low magnitude and intensity were not expected to cause damage and there was no need for panic.
