The government proposed introducing separate colour schemes for driving licences issued/renewed for Indian and foreign nationals. It also proposed to remove requirement of affidavits sworn before a magistrate or notary as age and address proof. It proposed raising qualifying score for the online safe-driving assessment from 60% to 75%. Licences may carry holders' blood groups and phone numbers.
