Karnataka's Barke police arrested a 42-year-old woman for allegedly stealing a 10-gram gold chain worth around ₹1.35 lakh from a three-and-a-half-year-old girl at a wedding at TMA Pai Hall in Mangaluru on October 18. The chain had a pendant. Police arrested the woman on October 19, within 24 hours of the incident. Further investigation is underway.
