Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced a 5% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for the state government employees, raising it from 45% to 50%, ahead of Diwali. He also announced ₹10,000 in additional arrears for the Class 4 employees. Notably, the enhanced DA in salary shall be effective from the October salary.
