In a major crackdown before Diwali, the Delhi government's food safety department has seized more than 322 kg of ghee over suspicious quality. The department inspected stores giving offers such as 'Buy One, Get One Free' and up to 60% discounts to check compliance with food safety standards. Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said the government would not tolerate food adulteration.
