Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar has urged the Centre to expedite examinations and recommendations for the proposed Mekedatu reservoir and Sharavathy pumped storage projects. He also urged the Centre not to finalise the seventh draft notification until the state completes a physical survey and submits its high-level committee report.
