The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain and thunderstorms across several Karnataka districts over the next five days, with heavy rainfall likely in parts of the state over the weekend. Coastal districts Dakshina Kannada and Udupi are expected to receive further showers, while Mysuru, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar may also experience heavy rain.
