Virginia Democrat Senator Louise Lucas was indicted on Thursday on racketeering, marijuana distribution, and money laundering charges. FBI Director Kash Patel alleged she ran a 'criminal marijuana enterprise' with family members, distributing over 100 kg of marijuana and laundering nearly $5 million. Six others were also indicted. Lucas surrendered voluntarily and called the indictment a political attack.
