Thane water cut to hit Diva, Kalwa, Mumbra for 36 hours. Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has announced a 36-hour water shutdown from midnight on October 22 to noon on October 24 in several areas. TMC said the cut follows a state directive amid low post-monsoon rainfall, El Nino conditions and early monsoon withdrawal. Supply from MIDC's Jambhul plant will halt, while low pressure may persist for 1-2 days afterwards.
