JNU students’ union ends 17-day protest after university accepts demands. Members of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) called off their indefinite protest on the 17th day after the administration agreed to meet their demands. The administration has agreed to withdraw FIRs against students, review contentious clauses in the Chief Proctor’s Office (CPO) manual and form committees on hostel reservation and the Joint Entrance Examination (JNUEE).
