Venezuela's opposition coalition has confirmed exiled Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Machado, who presented US President Donald Trump with physical gold medal, as its leader. This comes as a faction of the opposition holds talks with the interim government on a political transition after the US military's capture of ex-president Nicolas Maduro in January. Machado is currently living in Panama.
