2 villages set ablaze, 3 injured in gunfight as violence escalates in Manipur. The villages of Skipe and Pilong near the Myanmar border in Manipur's Tangkhul Naga were set ablaze amid violent clashes in the region. The arson incident followed a gunfight between armed Kuki and Naga groups that killed a 36-year-old Kuki man and injured four others. Three Tangkhul Naga men sustained gunshot wounds in a subsequent clash and were hospitalised.
