A man in Uttar Pradesh allegedly strangled his 27-year-old sister, Komal, with her dupatta after finding a youth from their village in her room. Police said Ashish Kumar feared the incident would bring disgrace to the family. Komal worked as a village panchayat assistant in Lakhanor. The accused was arrested on October 16 and subsequently produced before a court.
