SC recognises internet access as fundamental right. The Supreme Court has said that access to and use of the internet is a fundamental right of every individual, including children, under Articles 21 and 19(1)(a) of the Constitution. The court has also suggested introducing child-friendly modes on social media platforms to strengthen online safety without completely denying children access to the internet.
