Udupi MLA threatens protest over hospital relocation. Udupi MLA Yashpal A Suvarna criticised the Karnataka government over plans to shift the existing 120-bed taluk hospital to the newly constructed district hospital building at Ajjarkad without adequate medical equipment, infrastructure and staff. He warned that relocating the hospital under the present conditions would deprive residents of essential healthcare services.
