Heavy rain damages two houses in Udupi as downpour continues. Heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning continued across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on Friday night and into Saturday morning, October 17, disrupting electricity supply and damaging two houses in Karkala taluk. The downpour brought some relief from the heat, but power cuts in several areas left residents facing a difficult night.
