India responds to Marco Rubio skipping Delhi & visiting Mumbai on upcoming visit. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal has confirmed US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will skip Delhi and visit Mumbai on the upcoming visit. "This has been the practice in the last decade or so that we have hosted foreign dignitaries outside Delhi," Jaiswal stated. He also gave examples, including PM Modi hosting German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Ahmedabad.
