France targets 30,000 Indian students by 2030. French Deputy Ambassador Lisa Amon said welcoming 30,000 Indian students to France by 2030 is a bilateral priority under the India-France Special Global Strategic Partnership. Indian enrolment in French higher education rose 17% to 9,100 in 2024-25, up 63% since 2018. The Choose France Tour 2026 brought 50+ French institutions to New Delhi.
