NASA satellite captures giant spider-shaped crater in Australia. NASA's Landsat 9 satellite has captured a striking view of Spider Crater in Western Australia's Kimberley region. Spanning approximately 13 by 11 kilometres, the ancient impact structure features spider-like sandstone ridges shaped by erosion. Estimated to be 600–900 million years old, the crater preserves evidence of a powerful extraterrestrial collision.
