Mumbai under heatwave warning for third consecutive day. Mumbai continues to face elevated temperatures, with a heatwave warning issued for several consecutive days. The temperatures recorded are significantly above the seasonal averages, raising concerns among Meteorological officials. Light to moderate rain is expected to provide potential relief in the coming weeks. The unusual heatwave is primarily attributed to an anticyclone and easterly waves affecting the region. Prolonged warm conditions are anticipated to persist at least.
