India, Russia hold talks on Pakistan & Afghanistan. India and Russia held their 7th round of talks under the Special Mechanism on Pakistan and Afghanistan in New Delhi. Co-chaired by Deputy NSA Pavan Kapoor and Russia's Aleksandr Venediktov, discussions covered regional security and international stability. EAM Jaishankar called India a 'natural option' for Russia amid its strained ties with Europe.
