CM Shivakumar seeks date from PM Modi to open elevated Pink Line. Bengaluru's 7.5-km elevated Namma Metro Pink Line stretch from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere is ready for inauguration after completing its safety inspection by the CMRS. Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting a suitable date in October for the inauguration. Once operational, the stretch will expand Bengaluru's metro network to 103.6 km.
