Assam BJP holds Jan Jagaran march against Congress over SIR. Assam BJP organised a statewide Jan Jagaran procession in Guwahati on Wednesday, opposing Congress and the I.N.D.I.A bloc for resisting the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. BJP president Dilip Saikia said thousands, including youth and women, participated, accusing Congress of political propaganda and attempting to destabilise the electoral process.
