IEA warns of global diesel shortages. The International Energy Agency has warned that the global diesel crisis will drag on into next year. The agency said that diesel supplies "remained under significant strain" as exports from Russia and the Middle East are disrupted by ongoing conflicts. Combined losses of diesel exports from the Middle East and Russia totalled 1.3 million barrels/day in September, it said.
