Indian Railways nears 100% electrification, only 191 km left. Indian Railways is nearing complete electrification of its broad-gauge network, with only 191 route kilometres (RKm) remaining, the Railway Ministry said. As of September 30, electrification had been completed across 70,311 RKm of the total 70,502-km broad-gauge network. The ministry further said that 27 States and Union Territories have already achieved 100% electrification.
