Father-in-law obliged to support widowed daughter-in-law: Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court held that a father-in-law is obligated to maintain his widowed daughter-in-law if she cannot support herself. The court partly allowed an appeal filed by a woman and her two daughters against a trial court order directing them to vacate a flat owned by her father-in-law. However, it upheld the possession decree in favour of the father-in-law.
