Bank of Baroda said it will firmly defend against NMC founder BR Shetty's $15 billion damages suit in Bombay High Court, alleging bank-facilitated fraud. The bank noted a similar New York suit was dismissed in July 2024 and said it is pursuing recovery of ₹2,800 crore from Shetty in India and UAE.
