Main accused in Punjab anti-drug activist's murder arrested. Punjab Police arrested Ashwani, the alleged main shooter in anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota's murder, from Salasar in Rajasthan. Jhota was shot dead in Mansa on October 13 after confronting a medical shop owner over alleged illegal drug sales. The incident occurred during a Facebook Live session. Police had also arrested an associate suspected of helping Ashwani flee.
