Steam servers down briefly due to routine maintenance. Steam servers went down for thousands of users on October 13, with Downdetector logging over 4,000 reports. The outage coincided with Steam's weekly Tuesday maintenance window (1–3 PM PDT). Users complained on social media, but numbers dropped sharply soon after, confirming the brief disruption was maintenance-related, not a major outage.
