Bengal forest officials stop traffic for wild elephants. Forest officials in West Bengal's Bagdogra halted traffic to let a herd of wild elephants cross a busy road safely. A video shared by Union Minister Bhupender Yadav showed Kurseong Forest Division personnel holding back vehicles as the animals crossed. The incident follows another in which a forest guard alerted a train to elephants crossing railway tracks, preventing potential collision.
