The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena announced a statewide signature campaign from Monday, October 12, amid controversy over the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. The party said it would seek Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation, cancellation of the SIR process, ballot papers as an alternative to EVMs, transparent voter lists and consultations with all political parties.
